Fire Up the Deep Fryer
Some of you may know of my fascination with extra-large cephalopods.
The largest colossal squid EVER was caught in Antarctic waters south of New Zealand earlier this month.
Dr. Steve O'Shea, a squid expert at the Auckland University of Technology, said that "if calamari rings were made from the squid they would be the size of tractor tires."

Isn't that the crasiest???
&thanks for visiting my blog during my long hiatus.
I think it would be cool to be known as a squid expert. I wonder how you go about that?
I am guessing you woudl have to go to Texas to find a deep fryer big enough for that baby. Holy Moly!
How shiny is that? I go squid jigging a lot out here in the Puget Sound, which is a hoot. I don't think I'd want to get ahold of one of those giant brutes.
(Not sure how I found your blog, but more of me is at this link...
